It’s our Annual Parochial Church Meeting next Sunday, where we report on all the wonderful things that have been happening in the past year and look ahead to the next year. We meet in the Lady Chapel of St John’s from approx 12.30pm so there’s time to grab a coffee before we start. Feel free to bring a sandwich or snack to eat while we meet too. At the APCM we elect Churchwardens and any new members of the PCC for the year. If you’re interested please speak to Revd Michelle and Nomination Forms are available in church at the back.
Also this year we elect representatives from our Parish to be on Deanery Synod – (Forms also available at the back) where we meet together with those from the other churches in Peterborough Deanery. Do ask for more information if you’d like to know a bit more about what this involves. This is an important time as later in 2026 we will also be electing new members of General Synod, the governing
body for the Church of England and it is the members of each Deanery Synod that elect the new General Synod members.
