Our Bellringers ring the bells of St John’s before the main Sunday service at 11am, and on various special occasions throughout the year.
- Our Saturday Café is run by various teams of volunteers. New volunteers are often needed to join one of the teams.
- Our Choir sings at the 11am Sunday service in St John’s.
- The ‘Busy Fingers’ Craft Group meets during our Saturday Café. Its work often helps to make the church look more colourful and welcoming on special occasions, and craft items are also available to buy from our welcome counter.
- The St John’s Ladies Group, which actually meets at St Luke’s, organises a programme of talks and other meetings.
- Our Youth Group gives young people aged 10+ and their families a chance to get together for a range of fun and social actitivies.
- There are also teams of volunteers that help to regular events such as Piccolo and Tuesdays Till Two. Please contact the CIC programme manager if you would like to get involved.

Of course, one of the most important ways to take part in the life of the church is to pray regularly, and you can find out more about some ways you can do this on our Daily Prayer page.
