MARRIAGES

Publication of Banns of marriage only – £36
Certificate of Banns – £18
Marriage service (including Banns) – £531
Calling of Banns if getting married elsewhere – £54
Marriage service with organist and verger – £741  (if being videoed – £891)
Marriage service with bells,organist, and verger – £941  (if being videoed – £1091)

FUNERALS

Service in church – £228 (If followed by cremation, or burial in a cemetery add  £32)
Service in crematorium – £228
Typical Funeral Service in church with organist and one verger, followed by committal at the crematorium – £442
Please note: For funerals travel within Peterborough maybe charged at £20, or other locations @45ppm

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

• Bellringers: You can choose to have the church bells rung for your wedding for an additional fee of £200 (if at the beginning as well as the end – £300)
• Choir:  We have a choir at St. John’s and it may be possible to have members of this choir to sing for an additional fee of £200.00
• Flowers: St John’s offers a Wedding Flowers Arrangement Service for the cost of flowers plus a donation to the Church. Alternatively you may use a commercial florist or be able to have whatever flowers are in church at the time. Please contact Diane Sabel at 131426diles@gmail.com for further information.
• Organist: at wedding – £150 (if wedding is videoed  – £300) at funeral – £120
• Videos: There is an additional cost for videoing a wedding due to performing rights and copyright fees etc. Please check regarding this before booking a video of the service.
  Heating: From September to May there is an additional charge for heating of £100.
• Additional verger: £40

Cheques should be made payable to “St John’s PCC”

Fees approved by St John’s Parochial Church Council and follow the Church of England national fees set by General Synod.
