St John’s and St Luke’s are both used as venues for meetings and events. St Luke’s can be used for rehearsals, talks and meetings while St John’s is a superb venue for exhibitions and concerts and other performances. Events
Our regular events, Tuesdays Till Two and Piccolo, bring lots of wonderful music performed by professional musicians to Peterborough. Please visit the St John’s CIC website for more details of these and other forthcoming events happening in St John’s.
The church café is open most Saturdays between 10am and 12 noon. Roughly 75% of the profits go to a variety of charities supported by the church.
St Luke’s is open from 10am every Wednesday morning, for a “Chill & Chat” drop-in coffee time, before the service of midday prayer, and is the venue for meetings of the St John’s Ladies Group.
Tuesday Till Two is a regular series of concerts organised in partnership with St John’s CIC. Concerts begin at 1.00pm and last approximately 45 minutes. A pop-up café serving tea, coffee and home made cakes and savouries is open from 12pm. The concerts are free, with a retiring collection; the suggested minimum donation for each concert is £6.
