Remembering The Queen at St John’s and at St Luke’s

Our Sunday Services this weekend once again give thanks for the life and loving service of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and pray for our new King Charles III. There will be a special order of service for our morning services at 9.15am in St Luke’s and at 11am in St John’s.

On Sunday afternoon in St John’s we will be showing a montage of The Queen’s life on a large screen accompanied by music – all are welcome to drop in as and when to spend some time in reflection and remembrance. There will be a short service of Evening Prayer at 5pm to conclude. Many thanks to everyone who has made it possible to keep both churches open during this period of mourning – it has been much appreciated by the many who have come to light candles and pray.
