Michelle to say opening prayer at Peterborough Faith & Food festival

The Peterborough Faith & Food Festival has been running annually for many years. In the past it has usually taken place in the Town Hall, but in this year of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee it is moving to Cathedral Square.
It is taking place from 12-3pm this Saturday, 21st May, and following the welcome from festival founder and Peterborough Interfaith Council chair Dr Jaspal Singh DL, our new vicar Michelle will open the festival in prayer before singing a hymn.

Groups representing all the major faiths in the city will also take part with readings, meditations and songs or hymns, entertaining those enjoying the varied menu on offer at the festival, which includes sandwiches, samosas, pizza and curry as well as cakes and hot or cold drinks.

Full programe and menu details for the festival can be found in the festival brochure.
