One of the glass doors in the South Porch of St John’s was smashed early last week (some time between late Sunday 20th night and early Monday 21st October). The picture of the boarded up door, which was posted on our Facebook page attracted lots of attention and offers of help and support from the local community.
Our church insurance policy will cover some, but not all, of the costs of replacing the door, and so we have set up a Just Giving page for anyone who would like to make a donation to help us cover the cost of repairs, and if the page raises more than we need then any extra will go towards keeping our Community Support Hub open more days during the coming autumn and winter.
