Palm Sunday – 2nd April
9am St Luke’s:
10.30am St John’s (start at Guildhall):
Meet outside for a special blessing of palm crosses and procession re-enacting Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey! Followed by Communion in church.
Maundy Thursday – 6th April
7.30pm St John’s: Communion Service remembering the Last Supper and Watch in the Lady Chapel until 10pm
Good Friday – 7th April
10am Stanley Rec: Join together with churches from across Peterborough for a ‘Walk of Witness’ followed by hot cross buns in St John’s
2pm St John’s: Service of the Cross with readings, music, prayers and candle lighting giving thanks for God’s saving love in Jesus
Holy Saturday – 8th April
🐣 Easter Egg Trail: 🐣 Do the Easter Egg Trail at St John’s (11am-12) or at St Luke’s (1-2pm)
Easter Day – 9th April
9.15am St Luke’s: Special Service for Easter
11am St John’s: Family Festival Communion Followed by Fizz and chocolate afterwards!
