Services at St John’s
Sunday 17th December
6.30pm: Christmas Carols by Candlelight – with festive refreshments afterwards
Christmas Eve:
11am: Sung Eucharist – Our regular Sunday Service
3pm: Crib Service – Come along in Nativity costumes and take part in the story of Christmas!
11pm: Midnight Mass – Come and celebrate as we welcome in Christmas. This service will be preceded by a seasonal selection of organ music played from 10.15pm by organist Fergus Black.
Christmas Day:
12pm-2pm: Carols at Christmas at St John’s – Come along and join in carols around the crib with festive food. All welcome
Services at St Luke’s
Thursday 21st December:
2pm-4pm: Christmas Crafts, Cake and Christingles – All ages are welcome to share a cuppa and some cake, and join in with this Christmas Craft session which will end with a Christingle service.
Christmas Eve:
9.15am: Holy Communion – Our regular Sunday Service at St Luke’s will take place as usual
Christmas Day:
10am: Family Celebration – Come along to St Luke’s and
celebrate Christmas – a service for all ages!
Other Christmas Activities:
Friday 15th December at 7pm: Christmas Together – A celebration of Christmas songs, music and readings featuring the City of Peterborough Concert Band and Peterborough Take Note Community Choir – Tickets £10 on the door, or £8 in advance from St John’s, or for £8.50 online. Child tickets £3.
Friday 22nd December at 4.30pm: Tree & Treats
Everyone is invited to come along and make a decoration to put on the Christmas tree!
There will be Christmassy refreshments and time to natter too!
