Three of our fellow CTICP churches are running Lent courses that are open to all.
Cathedral Lent Course
This year we will be following a five-week course – Bishop Donald’s Lent Course on “The Four Gospels. We are planning to deliver these both in person (using the pre -recorded material) and online via zoom in order to include as many as possible. The first session will take a brief overview of all four gospels with a time to discuss their dates, authors and reliability. The following four weeks will consider one gospel each week.
Matthew: Sermons, parables and a great commission
Mark: Short, snappy and urgent
Luke: A careful history for gentiles
John: Shallow enough and deep enough
The online sessions will be on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm via zoom starting on 9th March.
The in person sessions will be on Tuesdays at Almoners’ Hall from 1.30pm starting on 8th March.
St Mary’s Lent Study

We are also potentially looking to run the same course in person on either a Thursday or a Friday afternoon, for those who would prefer that timing. Details are yet to be arranged for the afternoon sessions; if you might be interested, please contact Huw at the email address above.
All are welcome, and we would love to see you there, whether on a Wednesday evening or a Thursday/Friday afternoon.
