This is what Easter means – new life, new hope, new beginnings – a new creation.

The road to Jerusalem is not a straight road – neither the journey to the cross, nor the journey of Holy Week that we walk together each year.

Wherever people care for each other with love there is mothering.

Living, alive, life-giving waters, spreading far and wide, never failing. This is the Spirit.

..this Lent we walk on together into whatever it is that God has planned for us – in trust and faith.

..what we see as we journey through Lent, reminds us how our faith is both more simple and more glorious..

…but what is the fast or the giving up that God might be asking of us?

God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good.

Jesus tells us that we are the salt of the earth; and that we also need to be the light.

At Candlemas we celebrate Jesus, the light in our midst – and we recognize the light in each of us.
