..what we see as we journey through Lent, reminds us how our faith is both more simple and more glorious..

…but what is the fast or the giving up that God might be asking of us?

God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good.

Jesus tells us that we are the salt of the earth; and that we also need to be the light.

At Candlemas we celebrate Jesus, the light in our midst – and we recognize the light in each of us.

Something deep within us is on the look out. But for what? What is it that would satisfy us?

Epiphany then, is not the tail end of Christmas… but the promise hope and new life for all people.

… and he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

… if you unwrap any gifts today, spend just a moment thinking of the most precious gift of all; God wrapped up in that tiny baby.
